    Paul is a highly experienced acoustic “all -rounder” with 35 years’ of practical acoustic consultancy experience. Paul is a corporate Member of the Institute of Acoustics and holds the Institute’s Silver Certificate.

    Paul provides input covering all aspects of noise and vibration assessment, including architectural acoustics; building services acoustics; and industrial noise and vibration. Paul has a particular strength in environmental noise and vibration, preparing Noise Assessments to accompany development proposals/EIA's, and routinely acts as an expert witness in this field, giving evidence at Public Inquiries, at Planning Hearings, in front of Planning Committees; in connection with both civil / criminal court cases and licensing matters.

    Paul has a powerful ability to identify quickly the acoustic challenges posed by proposed developments and provide the technical support to professional colleagues to address and deliver the sustainable development opportunities sought by Clients.

    Phil has over 25 years’ experience in environmental health, public protection, and pollution control. Phil started his career working for air quality consultants specialising in the surveying, testing and the management of various pollutants such as lead, asbestos and other occupational health contaminants. He has worked for Local Authorities for over 20 years and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and The Institute of Environmental Science (MIEnvSci). As part of his local authority work, Phil has provided expert witness within public inquiry in relation to odour and dust nuisance. Phil was involved in writing the Code of Construction Practice for Westminster City Council which included work on the requirements of construction dust management, monitoring, mitigation, and control. He has many years of experience investigating odour and dust nuisance and the regulation of compliance under IPPC and later the PPC legislative regimes. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in reviewing Air Quality Assessments for Planning applications, Environmental Statements and EIA chapters. In the last eight years Phil has managed a noise, vibration and dust assessment, monitoring and management service providing consultancy services on local and national infrastructure and construction projects of various sizes across the UK.

    Gopinath has over 10 years of experience in air pollution research and pollution control. He began his career as a Research Fellow at the Global Centre for Clean Air Research, focusing on air quality monitoring and data collection for various pollutants, including particulate matter (PM10, PM2.5, and ultrafine particles) and other occupational health contaminants. He is a full member of both the Institute of Air Quality Management (MIAQM) and the Institute of Environmental Science (MIEnvSci).

    Gopinath has authored and co-authored numerous articles in internationally recognized research journals. He later worked as a Research Fellow in Systems Thinking at the Institute for Sustainability, where he managed research programs, identified new research areas, and contributed to drafting grant proposals to expand the institute’s research portfolio. He also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Coimbatore Institute of Technology, India.

    With extensive experience in reviewing air quality assessments for various research projects, Gopinath has, over the past six years, led air quality assessments, monitoring, and management for multiple international research projects across the UK.

    Raquel has an MSc and has also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control. She is a Member to the Institute of Acoustics. Prior to joining QA, Raquel was an Acoustic Consultant at Mayer Brown, where she covered all aspects of noise and vibration. Raquel has a particular passion for environmental acoustics and has produced many Noise Assessments to accompany development proposals/EIA’s.

    Dave is an experienced acoustic consultant specialising in all areas of environmental noise, vibration, building and architectural acoustics. His experience allows him to advise on all aspects of projects, from initial scoping, through planning applications, detailed design and finally commissioning testing. Dave is a corporate Member of the Institute of Acoustics and a Committee Member (former Chair) of the southern branch of the Institute of Acoustics. He is currently a member of an ANC Working Group to provide noise guidance to practitioners on sport and leisure noise.

    Nicki graduated from Swansea University with a BSC in Business.

    She handles all QA’s accounting transactions, is responsible for the preparation of financial accounts and liaising with the company accountants.

    Sarah graduated with an MSc in Maths and Psychology and gained MIPD.

    She has worked in many HR roles for over 30 years and is now responsible for all HR-related matters.

    Linda has over 30 years marketing and promotions experience.

    She has owned and managed Marketing agencies.  Working in all aspects of Marketing from Experiential, Promotional and Direct marketing.

    She has many years of working with big advertising agencies and managed big events and promotion experiences for International and National brands. Including B2B, FMCG and Charities.

    She is now entering the world of Acoustics and helping them with their Marketing plans.

    Caroline is a valued member of the admin team.  Having previously worked for an online children’s book rental service, Caroline is excited to take on a new challenge within the world of acoustics.

    Nikki has worked in administration and finance for design and construction management companies for over 35 years; focusing on finance for the past 15 years

    She is looking forward to developing her new role at QA.
